True North Behavioral Health: Program Policies & Rules

Attendance Policy

Participants must attend the full duration of each scheduled session to receive credit. Programs must meet specific instructional time requirements, so arriving on time and remaining for the entire session is essential. Missed time due to lateness, absence, or early departure will be counted as an absence and must be made up. All missed sessions are subject to the session fee, and excessive absences may result in program removal.

Late Arrival Policy

Participants must arrive on time. Anyone arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be admitted, as partial attendance does not meet program or court requirements. Late arrivals are responsible for the full session fee, and the session will be marked as an absence.

Participation Policy (In-Person Sessions)

Participants must remain present, engaged, and respectful throughout the session. Distractions such as phone use, leaving the room, or disengagement may result in the session being marked as incomplete. These expectations ensure compliance with court-approved program standards.

Payment Policy

Payment is required prior to each session unless a pre-approved payment plan is in place. All payments are non-refundable. Missed, cancelled, or late sessions are still billed. Accounts with outstanding balances may result in paused participation until resolved.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule individual sessions. Late cancellations will be charged in full. Group sessions cannot be rescheduled individually; missed sessions must be made up at a later date.

Court Documentation Policy

Attendance records, progress updates, and completion certificates are provided once all requirements are met. Documentation is released only when all sessions are completed, fees are paid, and a signed Release of Information (ROI) is on file (if applicable). Records will not be altered, modified, or backdated under any circumstances.

Code of Conduct

Participants must behave respectfully at all times. Disruptive behavior, hostility, intoxication, or refusal to follow instructions may result in removal from the session or program.

Program Disclaimer

This program provides behavioral education, not psychotherapy or mental health treatment. Participation does not establish a therapist–client relationship and does not include diagnosis or clinical services. Referrals will be provided for individuals seeking counseling or crisis support.

Confidentiality & Recording Policy

Recording any portion of a session (audio, video, or images) is strictly prohibited. This protects participant privacy and supports a safe, respectful learning environment. Violations may result in immediate dismissal without refund.
